Scholarships
It is important to Fat Con that anyone be able to attend regardless of financial obstacles.
When attendees purchase tickets to Fat Con, they have the option to Pay It Forward and purchase additional tickets to be gifted to others through the scholarship program.
Any community member or business can purchase Pay It Forward tickets (whether you attend Fat Con or not).

Scholarship Application Open Now
This scholarship is intended to increase access to Fat Con for attendees who may not have the financial means to participate. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to come bask in Fat joy and community. Our goal is to create a more equitable and inclusive Fat liberation landscape, where all Fat people have the opportunity to access joy, community, education, and resources.
We have two scholarship levels:
Full Access scholarship recipients will receive:
1 full access pass to Fat Con
1 bed in a shared room at the King Street Ballroom & Embassy Suites
(check in January 15 - check out January 18)
Partial scholarship recipients will receive:
1 full access pass to Fat Con

All scholarship applications are due by July 31, 2025.
Scholarship selection emails will be sent no later than by August 30, 2025.
